Luther Ridge Retirement Community is nestled in the beautiful Cumberland Valley of South Central Pennsylvania just a few minutes from downtown Chambersburg on a pastoral campus at the base of South Mountain – a location that provides stunning seasonal views.

Chambersburg is the quintessential American small town. Newsmax Magazine recently selected Chambersburg as one of “the 25 cities and towns that best express our national values.” Year-round activities include street festivals, church suppers, auctions, carnivals, and an annual IceFest.

Chambersburg Mall is located just a few minutes away, providing a convenient solution to shopping needs.

Chambersburg Hospital, a 248-bed, non-profit community hospital, is just 15 minutes away.

Luther Ridge is located just off Interstate 81, providing easy access to Washington DC, Baltimore, Philadelphia and Harrisburg. The historic town of Gettysburg and beautiful Adams County are less than 30 minutes away.

Three colleges located near by, the Mont Alto Campus of Penn State University, Wilson College in Chambersburg and Shippensburg University, provide year-round educational opportunities and host entertainment, athletic and cultural events. In addition, nationally recognized Totem Pole Playhouse (providing a full program of professional summer theatre) and Chambersburg’s historic Capitol Theatre offers a variety of entertainment.

For outdoor activities, Caledonia State Park, Cowans Gap State Park and Mont Alto State Park and Penn National Golf Course are all easy drives and provide a multitude of hiking, fishing, boating, golfing and biking opportunities.
