Position:		Director of Social Services
Description:		Responsible for planning, organizing, and directing the social services function; providing oversight to the resident admission process to the Skilled Care Center; implementing strategies to achieve goals developed for the department as part of the Community's annual operating plan; insuring the department's compliance with operating standards and procedures and outside regulatory requirements; organizing the work, activities, and human resources of the department; directly supervising assigned personnel; communicating with appropriate management and staff personnel; providing periodic reports.
Required Education:		Master’s degree in social work or social welfare or current social work license from the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania required.
Required Experience:		A minimum of three (3) years’ experience in related positions normally required, including one (1) year of supervised social work experience in a health care setting working directly with individuals.
