1.  Do I have to be Lutheran to use your services?
No.
Many people think that Lutheran Social Services is only for Lutherans, but we welcome people of all faith and life experiences. “Our mission is to serve anyone in need.” Begun as a ministry of the Lutheran Church, LSS has grown in service well beyond the Lutheran circle. “Called to serve, called to care,” LSS serves those in need in our community, without regard to creed or belief.
2.  If I'm not Lutheran, can I still be a Stephen Minister?
We train members of any Christian church to be Stephen Ministers. A letter of recommendation from the individual's pastor is required.
