Each community has its own character and ambiance, but common to all is a sense of caring and community engendered and strengthened by our mission of care and service. Free from concerns about security, property taxes and maintenance, you may lead an active lifestyle, choosing to participate in a variety of activities, pursue your own interests, travel, plant a garden, or just kick back. As a member of a continuing care retirement community, you'll have access to levels of care should the need arise. In partnership with the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), LSS also provides federally subsidized housing for income qualified elderly and handicapped/disable persons on our campuses in Chambersburg and Shrewsbury.
