Senior Companion Program
Currently Recruiting in York County!
Urgent Need in Southern York County!

For some, being alone is one of the most severe consequences of aging. Being alone reduces older adults' ability to live in their own homes, damages the quality of their lives, and can lead to premature death.

Senior Companions bring energy and life to those who are alone. Meanwhile, Senior Companions themselves find new purpose and meaning for their own lives. Sharing their experiences with other seniors, they can make a difference in everyday life and help strengthen our community.

SENIOR COMPANIONS ARE FRIENDS FIRST
To whom do older adults in your community turn when they need a friend? Seniors who are homebound or otherwise unable to manage completely on their own need someone to count on. Help and friendship can make a world of difference for them, enhancing their quality of life, allowing them to be more independent and less fearful of tomorrow. That's why friendship is at the heart of the Senior Companion Program.
