Lutheran Counseling Services

Lutheran Counseling Services (LCS), a program of LSS, is here for you when you have difficulties on your journey through life. Whether your concern is depression or anxiety, a loss or a lifestyle change, LCS can help guide you on the path to wholeness. Within a Christian context that honors diversity and autonomy, we work with you to explore what choices are available and the effects each choice may have. We will help you look at many aspect of your life; physical, emotional, mental, social and spiritual.

Using faith, values and sensitivity combined with professional training, Lutheran Counseling Services promotes inner healing and wholeness according to the needs of each person.

Lutheran Counseling Services may be recommended by your doctor, social worker, hospital discharge planner, employer or clergy. In addition, you or a family member may request Lutheran Counseling Services by contacting us directly.

Our executive director is a licensed psychologist in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and has specialized training in clinical psychology, psychological evaluation and marriage and family therapy. All our counselors are doctoral- or masters-level trained and supervised by a licensed professional.

LCS services may qualify for Medicare as well as some other health insurance and managed-care plans. LCS is supported by donors and congregations in the community. Members of participating congregations benefit from reduced rates.
